Versace launched this summer, children's clothing line


Versace will launch this summer of its first high-level children's clothing line "Young Versace", the target group in babies born to 12-year-old boys and girls, is expected to be in June of this year's Pitti Immagine Bimbo Florence Italy Kids Show debut, will be in held open-air playground.

"This series of high-end, brilliant, rich colors, classic design is based on the brand, with a little rock and roll style." Versace CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris said. Versace design of the classic image of Greece and the Medusa logo design in this series will be re-interpreted, and add some interesting natural fabric printing.

Ferraris with the "completion" series to describe the Young Versace family, because it makes the brand a more complete structure, but this series will be entirely in the domestic production. Hopes that the children's clothing line to achieve within five years, with 200 retailers, wholesale sales of 30 million euros (43 million) target. Young Versace family also will be available in stores along with adult equipment for sale, of course, the company also hopes to set up their own Direct line shop.

Last year, Versace sales of 290 million euros (3.9 billion U.S. dollars), with 2009 of 268 million euros (3.7 billion) compared with an increase of 9.1%.
